About me
I have been an artist and maker for as long as I can remember. One of my traits that helps to keep me grounded is that I am always curious about life. I am a lover of peoples' stories both the joyous times and the difficult times as we navigate our own understanding of the world. One of my greatest joys is guiding young people in fostering an appreciation for the arts and art making. In my personal life I often combine my love of creativity and art with mindful breathing and mindful movement, but have only recently learned how to combine these wellness practices in a meaningful way that may be beneficial to others. Last summer (2021) I received my Yoga and SEL Wellness Workshop Certification from Breath for Change. A program created and designed by an educator for educators. It was a life changing experience!
