Advanced Orthographic Mapping for Phonics and Spelling

Educators ask, “How do we take students to the next level of connecting sounds with the letters that represent those sounds in written text, especially when there is not a one-to-one correspondence between the sounds and letters?” Use orthographic mapping! Educators will learn the pieces and processes of orthographic mapping while practicing the strategy. Participants will leave with a guide to help them implement orthographic mapping with those tricky advanced phonics skills.
