Our hope is that we all walk away with new ideas we can immediately incorporate into our own classrooms. Some possible topics to consider when preparing would be: - Daily Scheduling and Routine -- How do fit it all in and do each thing justice? - Enrichment -- What are people doing in the classroom for those kids who get it? How are we moving them forward? - Small Groups -- How are you addressing the various levels of abilities? What types of tasks do students not with a teacher work on? - Writing -- Topics? Tips for improving general sentence structure? What are your expectations for 2nd grade writing at the end of the year and how do you get there? - Student/Classroom Management -- Needs go so far beyond academics - any tips and tricks for addressing the different areas of concern we are commonly seeing these days?
