Developing an understanding of oppositional defiant disorder and learning strategies for teaching students affected improves job satisfaction for teachers and improves outcomes for students. We will be sharing evidence-based practices with direct-from-the-classroom examples. These strategies can be incorporated into general or special education classrooms and will be presented with opportunities to interact and role play the practices described.
