About me
I find it hard to believe that this is my 18th year of teaching at Battle Creek Public School. I graduated from Osmond Public School in 1995 and then attended Wayne State College. I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in elementary education with an endorsement in coaching. I graduated in the spring of 1999 and was hired to teach third grade at Battle Creek in the fall. In 2010 I graduated from Doane College with a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I have taught third grade for 17 years. I am also part of the Student Assistance Team (SAT). I have coached high school volleyball, cross country and track.
Mrs. Ruth Becker will also join the group. She taught third grade in Battle Creek before I was hired. She is our Title I instructor and teaches reading recovery. She is the SAT chairman and serves on numerous committees for the district.
